  1. My best money saving tip is to try and find someone at your university to buy textbooks from. I did this a lot when I was an undergraduate and now I have graduated, I have set up a website for this very purpose. I have sold most of my books back on to students in lower years, some of them for more than I bought them for! Appalling, I know.

  2. Stay at halls of residence, as you know that all the utility bills and food are included in your rent.

  3. I read the papers and magazines that neighbours have thrown in their green recycle box – so they get double recycled!

  4. best money making tip

put bleach in a spray bottle and use it like that it will last longer and still do the same job

  5. Always think about your budget, forget about credit cards and expensive things in life.

  6. My best money saving tip is plan your meals in advance for the week. Write down what you need and don’t deviate from the list! However, if you’re like me you’ll find that something from the chocolate section will find itself into your trolley…

  7. My money saving tip would be to drop down from Branded groceries to shops own brands. Some of the shops own brands actually taste better!
