Welcome to the sixth money making report, here’s the last one.

As with the previous report I have been concentrating on university work this month, already had 2 exams with a further 4 to follow. Therefore this has got to take a back seat for the next couple of weeks at least.

I still await my first payment from matched.co.uk, which I expect in the next couple of days, payment has been confirmed and will be received in the next 7 days via PayPal, so I have been told (including my £5 sign up bonus). Nothing to report from Amazon as I removed the widgets as part of the site redesign. May look into making some new widgets that blend with the new look. Also have not reinstated AdToll yet, might look into doing this in the near future.

Tesco Attempts to Challenge iTunes Music Download Dominance

Music is very important to students, I had not been exposed to such a wide range of music until I started uni.

It will be no surprise that the iPod and iTunes are a students best friend. But can Britain’s biggest supermarket muscle in on iTunes market share when it comes to downloadable music?

Well Tesco have just relaunched there music download service, rebranding it Tesco Digital.

Not that imaginative, but it’s to the point.

The 4 P’s of Marketing and your Blog, Place!

Following on from my first, second, third and fourth installment in this series on the marketing mix, I would like to introduce you to the fourth and final ‘P’ of the 4 P’s series.

Placement

As with some of the previous P’s place or placement is open to interpretation. To a normal product, it is an outlet where that product is sold, whether thats on the high street or online.

For a blog or website, this is like the external links to your homepage. They are the doors to your business, the more you have, the more potential exposure you can generate. Therefore ultimately leading to more traffic.

One word is used to describe these links, Backlinks, a pretty self explanatory term.
